Overview:
For recruitment and staffing professionals, workers compensation claims can be confusing and communicating with the injured worker, the WorkCover agency, and other relevant stakeholders, can be time-consuming. Failure to strictly adhere to legislative compliance when processing claims forms, calculating wages and processing reimbursements can be costly .
This practical session will focus on best practice in strategic workers compensation claim management. It will cover the basics of Australia's workers compensation obligations, effective claims management processes, and essential communication with insurers and healthcare providers.
This training supports recruitment and staffing leaders, and senior roles responsible for supporting the health, safety and wellbeing of staff. Learners will gain a foundational understanding of the claims process, supporting both compliance and proactive management in Australia.
