Overview: 

RCSA along with our partner RCSA Invoice Finance are excited to present a webinar session for RCSA Members forecasting the Australian economic landscape for the next 12-18 month and the role recruitment and staffing can play in it.     Peter Grist, Principal Economist - Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

    Peter Grist has a wealth of experience in economic analysis, public policy, and industry advocacy across a wide range of sectors, including energy, housing, forestry and agriculture.

    As Principal Economist and Acting Director of Innovation, Productivity and Sustainability with the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Peter advocates for Australian businesses on key economic and public policy issues. His areas of responsibility cover macro-economic analysis, productivity, energy, environment and infrastructure. This includes preparing the Australian Chamber’s pre-budget submission and contributing economic analysis to Australian Chamber’s annual wage review.

    Prior to joining the Australian Chamber, Peter has held policy and economic research roles in industry associations in Australia and the United States, the public service, private consulting and academe.

    Nathan Geale
    Business Development Manager RCSA Invoice Finance

    Nathan began his working life as a Naval Officer, serving for seven years in the Royal Australian Navy. The military discipline he acquired in this role has continued to drive him in the 10 years he has spent working in the financial services sector. Nathan worked in the Westpac Group Corporate and Commercial banking team in Melbourne specialising in working capital, and more recently as a Business Development Manager at Scottish Pacific VIC/TAS. Deciding to return to his roots, Nathan is now part of the Queensland team. Nathan’s extensive financial services experience has enabled him to understand a wide range of different industries and their working capital requirements from smaller businesses to large corporates.

    Charles joined the RCSA as Chief Executive in May 2016, and since that time has established the foundations for an employment services certification scheme which will define professional service providers within the marketplace in Australia and New Zealand for years to come.

    Before taking on the role of Chief Executive, Charles was an equity Partner with FCB, Australia’s largest dedicated workplace legal and consulting firm, prior to which he founded and grew his own consulting firm which specialised in lobbying and risk management within the recruitment and employment services industry. He gained invaluable experience working with IPA, one of Australia’s most established recruitment firms, where he was the Workplace Relations and Safety Manager as well as 7 years working as an Advisor and Advocate for Australian Industry Group. In addition to his successful professional services career he founded a tech start up in 2006, which continues to successfully service the recruitment market today.
