RCSA has changed the date for SHAPE New Zealand

10 July 2024

Due to challenging market conditions and to ensure an optimum experience for attendees, RCSA has made the tough call to move New Zealand’s Marlborough SHAPE Conference to 2026. While we understand that the decision may be disappointing for those who planned to attend in October, the good news is, tickets are still available for SHAPE Noosa. The Australian conference will be held August 20-22 and is set to be an inspiring and insightful event loaded with content relevant to both countries.

“The decision to move the New Zealand Conference wasn’t made lightly, but after consulting with the Board and our NZ Council, it just made sense, says RCSA CEO Charles Cameron.

“We hope those who had their hearts set on Marlborough, will consider a trip over the Tasman to sunny Noosa. The team has done an excellent job sourcing a diverse and motivating cast of speakers. All the ingredients are there for it to be an event to rival last year’s hugely successful conference on Hamilton Island.”

In place of SHAPE Marlborough, RCSA is thrilled to announce it will be hosting a series of leader focused sessions across regional hubs in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch in October and November this year. The sessions will precede RCSA’s planned networking drinks and ensure NZ members have ample opportunity to connect, collaborate and inspire each other.

“It’s a challenging time to operate in New Zealand and we feel the community will appreciate us ‘reading the room’. When members can’t ‘come to us,’ we will ‘go to them,” adds Cameron.

Additionally, it’s all systems go for a New Zealand centric Talent X event in Auckland next year. Planning is well and truly underway, and the team is working hard to make it bigger, better and even more valuable than last year.

“It’s an exciting time for our New Zealand members. There are so many great events and opportunities coming down the pipeline and when times are tough, connecting and growing is vital, says Cameron.

“RCSA remains committed to making sure New Zealanders are connected and supported. We are ever adaptive and always responsive. We can’t wait to see you at the end of the year, at Noosa, Talent X, 2025 and Marlborough, 2026. #arohatomahi.”
