Before the end of year madness sets in, the RCSA is excited to be bringing our community together to raise a glass to our industry at our annual networking evenings.

Maybe you’re looking to catch up with friends old and new over an evening of casual drinks, canapes and relaxed networking?

Or maybe you want to hear from your local councils and get updated on the latest developments facing your region?

Regardless of what tickles your fancy, these events hosted by our local councils provide the perfect opportunity to meet and greet your local community.

So whether this is the first or fifth RCSA event that you’ve attended this year, we’d love to see you there - because we #loveyourwork!

Supporting Breakthrough Mental Health Research Foundation:
We will also have special guests from the Breakthrough Mental Health Research Foundation who will share with us their passion to create a life free from mental illness. They will be discussing burnout, how to notice the early signs and how to protect yourself and your team against it ahead on the holiday season!
It’s important we take the time to slow down and recharge over the break and take care of both our mental and physical health to avoid what is one of our industry’s biggest challenges for staff!

Breakthrough Mental Health Research Foundation is Australia’s first and only national charity which is 100% dedicated to funding mental health research. Established in 2018 in Adelaide, Breakthrough invests in ground-breaking research to better understand what causes mental illness, how we can better treat it, and how we can prevent it from happening in the first place. Breakthrough exists to help create a life free from mental illness.

Brooke Williams is the Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager for Breakthrough, and will be co-presenting with a researcher who specialises in organisational burn-out. Together they will speak about the signs to look out for in yourself and your team, what to do if you recognise burn-out, and how to protect your team against it.
